Activities on offer at Ngerende Island Lodge

Located in Olchoro - Oirogua Conservancy bordering the Masai Mara Game Reserve, the 74,000 acre ranch is mainly savannah, with abundant wildlife. Our expert guides and spotters are all seasoned professionals and have an amazing eye for finding the animals, birds and reptiles for which the Masai Mara is justifiably famous. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives, night game drives, guided bush and bird walks, visit to the Masai Manyatta villages, bush meals and sundowners. The lodge shares its river-side plot with two large Hippo Pods at the famous look-out points that has been popular with visitors for many years but of course, in a place as relaxing and comfortable as Ngerende, guests may just want to sit back on the private veranda or on the terrace and watch the Hippos and the world go by!
