The Big Five
Ngerende has an incredible array
of wildlife and its proximity to the breathtaking,
sprawling savannahs of the Masai Mara make it ideally
situated for game drives.
The best time to go on a game drive
is early morning or just before sunset - when the
animals are at there most active. If you are lucky
you might spot the big five – elephant, lion, cape
buffalo, rhino and the elusive leopard.

Other Amazing Wildlife
There are plenty of other amazing
creatures to watch in their natural habitats including
giraffes, zebras, crocodiles and over 400 species
of birds.
You can also pay a visit to a rhino
sanctuary, around a 15 minute drive from the lodge,
that rears white rhino. Originally brought in from
South Africa there are now five rhinos roaming on
its hillside and you’ll be amazed at just how close
you can get to them.
