The lodge is situated on the Olchoro – Oirogua Conservation Ranch which borders the Masai Mara Game Reserve, ensuring superb game viewing.

This is approximately 120kms from Narok town (2 hours drive) or around four hours from Nairobi.

Most guests choose instead to fly. Our own airstrip is just 2kms away and has scheduled flights from Malindi, Mombasa, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi and Wilson Airport, Nairobi.

Charter airlines are also available. Ask your travel professional for more information, or contact us for more advice. The flight time is just 60 mins from Nairobi.

Currency
The official currency is the Kenya Shilling (KSh). Guests should change currency at banks or bureaux de change. Travellers Cheques are widely accepted, and we accept Credit Cards at the lodge.

Electricity
The supply at Ngerende is 220/240 v 50hz. Plugs are 3 point square. If you are planning to bring a video camera charger or other electrical advice, please bring voltage and plug adaptors where appropriate.

For the conservation of the environment, Ngerende Lodge has been installed with eco-friendly solar panels to pump water, heat water and provide lighting.
